"Look at Me"
Mr. Pencil:

Mark's a gifted student.
Always on the honor roll.
Lately he seems different.
More out of control.
This boy needs some help.

Mom:

I don't know where to start.

Mr. Pencil:

How about a shrink?

Dad:

But he seems so smart.
Mark:
Look at me.
Can't they see?
Something isn't workin'.
It's deep inside
I can't hide.
My body keeps on jerkin'.
Dr. Snooze:
Mark is not the problem.
I think it is both of you.
It must be that your marriage
could use a coat of glue.
We can work this out.
Let's leave the boy alone.
Things will turn around.
Clear up on their own.
Mark:
Look at me.
Can't they see
What can he be thinkin'?
He's in the dark.
Missed the mark.
My eyes can't stop blinkin'.
Mom:
What can we do now?
Somehow I feel so lost.
Dad:
We've got to get some answers
and I don't care what it costs.
Mom:
You know I read something
'bout a neurologist.
Should we go see him too?
Dad:
Let's add that to our list.
Mark:
Look at me.
Can this be?
Pinch me, am I dreamin'
Feel so scared
Unprepared
When will I stop screamin'?
